LUDI — a creative agency working with spatial and visual solutions. Its founders are Tanya, a decorator, and Dasha, a designer. Main principle: made by people for people.
In designing the wordmark, I wanted to convey the agency’s core values — humanity, sincerity, and a handcrafted approach. That is why the lettering appears hand-drawn and intentionally contains small imperfections.
The circle, as an ideal, infinite, and self-contained form, was chosen as the basis for the graphics and logo because of its significance in the field of art, as well as its flexibility as a modular element.
When creating the logo, I used the circle as a natural form that is widely found in nature — planets, the stamens of flowers, and the pattern on a ladybug’s wings. The intersection of circles symbolizes the interaction between spatial decor and design in the creation of projects.
In developing the design for LUDI, I wanted to create a sense of a living form — an organism that develops, transforms, and can take on completely different appearances.
For me, this image is closely connected to the agency itself: a synthesis of two creatives working together, searching for forms for a wide range of projects and choosing a new approach each time.
